Gypsy
You’re no friend of ours
The way you hold that line
To say I’m out of signs
That love is not for this hour
You don’t dance in the rain
Unless if it’s not 1968 again
Gypsy
You forget to offer stones
When someone needs your help in life
Despite your native leather belt
An old black hat for the beach
Tis to thee I sing for this sea is grey
Gypsy
Remember poetry
Why not articulate
These waves
With your face
Instead you stand in place
O let it rock your waist
The need for spiritual change
That’s cause you’re no Gypsy
That’s cause you’re no Gypsy.
