Stars to Stories – November Horoscopes

written by Laura Paul November 1, 2019

Hi everyone, and welcome back to this month’s Stars to Stories. I’m glad to have you with me.

There’s a frenzy in the air right now, an on-going murmuring, a baseline electricity buzzing both in the internal world and out. Like carbonation without the liquid or the crackling of fireworks without any of the heat. It’s an airy time of year—one in which the wistfulness of autumn seems to have decomposed quickly into untethered feelings of uncertainty and anxiety. However, the creativity of these new connections and disconnections can be exciting and full of all sorts of possibilities, if you let it be.

From October 31st until November 21st Mercury will be retrograde, which will highlight some of this scatteredness and backward movement. Communications will be amped up and intensified, even if it’s a little stop and go.

Interestingly enough, this cycle features a somewhat rare and irregular occurrence, with the hot little planet crossing in front of the sun on the 11th rather than behind it. For some, this might correspond with the power of messengers to stand up to mandated leaders, whether it’s in regards to your nation, community, or organization. More intimately, it could simply involve a conversation to or about your father figure(s), or lack thereof, whether or not you want that to include a verse or two of George Michael afterward. Either way, we can continue to swap stories about what happened after the celestial messenger’s big day, and for many years to come as such an episode won’t happen again until 2032.

Starting in November, Mars and Saturn won’t make any challenging aspects for the rest of the year (phew!) and this month creates a good opportunity to prep for the ways in which we wish to close out our Gregorian calendar year before the next couple of eclipses come in December.

If you participate in the celebration of any holidays in the coming winter, make sure to use this time to plan out healthy ways to keep yourself safe, happy, and unharmed in the next season. If you are facing a time of potentially heightened activity this winter, or the absence of such, be aware that both can sometimes be as equally triggering. Before life gets too frenetic, gather up your lifelines, and practice being still when you need to refocus. The world wants your peace and satisfaction more than it wants you to punish yourself with the guilt of family and the stress of overwork.

Much love from me to you during this time, and may you feel guided by what’s beyond.

xo Laura

Scroll down for horoscopes by sign and read for your ascendant or rising sign if possible.

(If you’re curious to find your rising sign, go to astro-seek.com. After you enter your birth information look to the left of the circle to the line that says ASC. If you’re intrigued, confused, or both intrigued and confused you can email me at starstostories@gmail.com for a consultation.)

Aries

This month has the potential to outline where your confidence and assertion could come in handy. If you’re able to navigate any conflicts with a boss or partner professionally and appropriately, rewards may come after the dust settles. The full moon on November 12th could present a window of opportunity where your hard work might start to pay off. In the weeks that follow, your luck will come most in the areas of teaching and education, or publishing and media-related endeavors. Additionally, Mercury’s retrograde until the 20th will have you reviewing the money you owe others and where fundraising could help.

Taurus

The beginning half of the month will be building up to an energetic full moon in your sign on November 12th. Then, a matter will come to fruition in which a relationship involving a boss, professor, or mentor plays a starring role. If issues of collaboration are stirring up fears about a loss of control, make sure clear boundaries are set about which parts of your labor are non-negotiable. With Mercury’s retrograde until the 20th, this is likely to involve revisiting talks with a partner in private. It seems that the conversation will you good in switching up any stuck or outdated beliefs you’re still hanging onto.

Gemini

This month may not seem the most productive for you, but the temporary time out could do you well. Just because there’s more going on behind the scenes than out in public right now doesn’t mean you aren’t going to be strong in your future endeavors. With Mercury’s retrograde until the 20th, any stalls in communications or talks that seem to be moving backward will have their purposes come December. The full moon on November 12th will highlight some of the solitude you need if you feel stuck in-between a situation involving others, and the new moon on the 26th will provide a fresh start in a partnership matter.

Cancer

The full moon on November 12th brings with it disruption for your sign, and it seems to concern lasting plans with a partner of yours, or someone you know is less than supportive of your endeavors. If trying to work out what exactly is to change and what exactly you want to hold onto feels convoluted mid-month, give time for emotions to settle and to feel through all the information you need to come up with decisions for how it is you want your future to look. You’ll have Mercury supporting the area of children, hobbies, and pleasure until December 9th, so even if messages get scrambled, they should be bolstering your ability to have a little bit more fun. With another eclipse in your sign next month, there will be another set of shifts to sort through.

Leo

A message that comes around November 12th may feel like an affront, but make sure to step back and think through the intentions surrounding what is being said. Are these words being delivered to help or to harm you? It may be an issue that circles back around at the very end of the month, so it’ll be worth it to spend the time sorting out any missives. The last week of November could deliver you an extra boost of luck and creativity, but also work to do, so minding priorities as they come up could be especially beneficial. If you’re starting a new project at this time, ride the momentum whenever you can catch it.

Virgo

There will be an extra spotlight on community for you this month, as well as how you exert yourself out in the world. During the Mercury retrograde until the 21st, be extra mindful of how it is you’re coming across, and what it is you might take offense to. Are you pushing yourself out of your comfort zone too brashly? Or are you not taking enough of a risk? The full moon on the 12th might alter the way you think about yourself and your beliefs on what it is you’re striving to do. Reprioritizing and balancing work life versus home life will be given a fresh start with the new moon at the month’s end.

Libra

Have you been working through fears about a family or home-related issue? Especially focused on ancestry after Halloween? A tide might turn after the full moon on November 12th when you feel better able to stand up and speak your mind about or to a parental figure. With Mercury retrograde until the 20th, you’ll be investigating the ways in which family patterning has influenced how you produce money and why. Hopefully, by the end of the month, you’ll feel more stable and empowered with the deep dive into your possessions and what it is you want to possess.

Scorpio

This month Mercury will be retrograde through your home sign of Scorpio until November 21st. Whatever returns in information that comes up during this time will be duly connected to your identity and vitality. With the full moon on the 12th punctuating this retrograde period, an emphasis on partnership and audiences will evolve how you conceive of your confidence and self-worth. By the new moon at the month’s end, you may feel more buoyance in how you exert yourself out in the world. The luck will come through your participation in local community.

Sagittarius

There could be a focus on daily routine, your pets, or work habits come the middle of the month. Perhaps there’s some tinkering with your schedule you can do from home that will help and may not need anything else than some TLC from behind the scenes. In the second half of November, you could find some ease come your way through the groups you are a part of and those who’s work supports yours. The 24th will be a stand out day, where hopefully pleasure, partnership, and harmony will come easily and signify a new beginning.

Capricorn

The full moon on the 12th will be intimate to you and hopefully bring a dash of ease and enjoyment. There could be deep issues that emerge involving attraction, pleasures, and the groups in which you belong. Do you have your eye on someone? Or does someone have their eye on you? The messages that come at this time may be surprising, and it could be completely unexpected who loops back around to you. If communications aren’t clear, it may take the first few weeks of December to work out the details. There could be benefit to this, though, as rewards might come from getting clear on what you want and who wants you.

Aquarius

The full moon on the 12th of November will highlight something going on behind the scenes in your home, or a timeout you need to take on your own. Have you been working too hard recently? And playing too hard? For most of this month, you will have both benefic planets, Jupiter and Venus, partnered up in the lucky area of your chart showing perks from your career and help from high places, even if it’s just from buddies of yours. Enjoy the boost of support and the rewards you receive and make sure to show gratitude for whatever it is you’re given. When others around you understand your appreciation clearly, they may not soon forget it.

Pisces

Around the full moon on November 12th, you seem to be focused on getting involved in a local issue or community group. A dose of luck that comes with it, most likely involving an older person or well-established group. For the weeks until the 21st, there could be extra focus and review towards a paternal figure, education, or travel, or a situation involving all three. Is it because of a bit of extra growth you’ve been going through in your career this year? There will be more eclipses next month involving the lucky sectors of your chart, so hopefully any shakeups that come then will ultimately be things that you enjoy.
