MoPoems are brief reviews/recaps of movies.
The Conformist
father slapping us with his sleeves before
the nurse ties them behind
killing Mme Butter
shouting perfectly mediocre ideas
somewhere between Raskolnikov and Meursault
enchanted shadows of speech
all waxen in history
Eye in the Sky
Referring up
To the roving eye
That never blinks but always winks

How it was
When sunlight carried too
In the name of freedom
Drilling seeds into stones
The currents no different
Than before they were ripe
Sitting, thinking – how ordinary
It took six winters to make one
Spring, under gusts from home
Plant victory by fire from the sky
Not enough victory to go around
